Merit Standard 1540

This little beauty is a Merit Standard No. 1540 made between 1946 and 1965. Also bought off ebay.
These pictures were taken today 17 August 2010 just after i unpacked it. Many thanks to Kevin who sold it to me
for packing it up so well. This is in such a lovely condition all i'm going to do is mount it on a wooden base.
Ok, here is it's first steaming, this has got to be the quietest engine i've ever had running!
